About The Trainer, Margi Baldwin Moore
Margi Moore loves dog training because she believes seeing handlers connect with their dogs is an amazing experience. To her, observing dogs figuring out behaviors and thinking for themselves is an incredible sight to see.
Margi started out in the horse world and rode barrel racing horses until she was 25. Some of Margi's fondest childhood memories are with an Australian shepherd named Willie. Willie was Margi's father's dog who worked with horses and cattle. He was a loyal companion and quickly figured out there were two sets of rules - rules for him to obey for dad and rules for when the kids were around!
An exchange student living with Margi and her family ignited a spark for dog training that just never went away. Their exchange student was passionate about dogs, which led them to dog training and competitions. Margi shared this passion and thus her journey began.
For the past twenty years, Margi has been training, competing, and making therapy visits with her dogs. When you meet her, you'll immediately pick up on her energy. If you're new to the training, competition, or therapy world, don't worry, Margi always makes everyone feel welcomed and encouraged along their dog journey!
